* Except during traditional holiday periods eg Easter and Christmas, and also for a summer break during August, please watch for local advertising. 

The food is prepared and the cafe run by unpaid volunteers and all the net proceeds, including 'tips', are used to maintain the library operations and building.

We are always interested in hearing from people who would like to support the cafe through baking, help setting up/clearing away or volunteering to work in the cafe.

The Sweet Memories cafe is suitable for people with memory loss and their carers. We usually have some form of entertainment and serve a light lumch for £5. Occassionally we go out on trips instead.


We run Sweet Memories on the second Tuesday each month. 

10:30am - 12:30pm

We are able to fund transport by arrangement
